Experienced across the software development lifecycle: but prefer architectural and op's work. AWS fanboy. I default to JavaScript, but have extensive experience with PHP and Laravel. I work well at the intersection of technical and business, with the ability to see the bigger picture, take ownership of product direction, and communicate it clearly.

Carnedd.io :: CTO
Founder and CTO at a software consultancy based in Caernarfon. We build custom software and SaaS products, and provide strategic technology guidance to a small group of long-term clients. I'm proud to maintain client relationships that span my career, and support SaaS products that have been live for over eight years.
Edward Aslin; Technical Direction :: Consultant
Acted as a fractional CTO and technical consultant for dev houses, digital agencies, and SMEs across the UK. This period was highly productive — I was hands-on building and maintaining SaaS products while helping teams scale and deliver more efficiently.
Rok Creative :: Technical Director
Led technical strategy and execution, helping the agency refine its digital offering prior to its acquisition. My role spanned planning, technical architecture, and team leadership.
Whiteroom :: Technical Director
Led the transformation of the dev team at this digital agency. Introduced new systems and processes to streamline delivery while remaining hands-on in development.
Bulb Studios :: Developer + Senior Developer
Joined as a web developer and quickly progressed to a senior role. Worked closely with team leads to enhance developer workflows, introduce boilerplates, and mentor junior staff.
Purple Claw :: Owner / Director
Founded a boutique development studio that turned agency designs into production-ready code. Based on New Walk in Leicester, this was my first experience hiring and managing staff. It also opened doors to agency consulting, where my combination of technical and business insight became a strong differentiator.
Online Store & Shop :: Proprietor
Started my first business straight out of school. I built and ran a custom eCommerce platform, later expanding to a physical retail shop. At its peak, we were turning over £12–15k per month with strong margins. The experience of building and losing this business at a young age has been a formative influence on everything I've done since.
